I don't come from money. No fairytale background. No 5 star connections. But one thing I've always been is determined & innovative. As of late not many things seem to be going my way, so I felt I'd share something that has been wearing on my heart a lot... Don't let the limitations of your current state limit your future. If I allow that to happen I'll never be a mogul & right now I want that more than anything. It's so easy to fall apart & give up when you see things around you going haywire, but it's way more rewarding to jump that hurdle & keep it moving to the next level. Without struggle, there is no progress.

Back to BASICS!
I've been gone for quite some time, so let's catch up!
1. I transferred from John Jay to Baruch College this past Spring.. feels wayyyy more like college now
2. I have a radio show at Baruch's radio station, WBMB radio, called The Diva Files! I don't wanna toot my own horn, but TOOT TOOT... I'm damn good at it!!!!
3. I turned 20! *does Diva shimmy*
4. I did some revisions to my life, so now there's a whole new cast of characters - complete with my 1 year old TWIN nephews, Joshua & Isaiah! (my older sister Makeda's kids)
5. I changed my major from marketing to corporate communications. I'm hoping the radio show takes off, so I can launch other business ventures & build my empire. BOSS!
I feel like soooo much has happened in such a short amount of time, but I feel more BLESSED than ever & I thank God for that. I'm growing as an individual and a businesswoman... I'm DIVA-licious!
